The life of George Marson, the founder and Singer of the band is a mixture of adventurous sketches and funny coincidence. By a look at his semblance, nobody would guess that he is a well educated business man; he wears a motorcycle jacket and is not difficult to see him in jeans and hats.

 

But who is the guy that is about to revolutionize the music status quo again. Well, he was born near the Mediterranean sea, very close to Barcelona, but soon he moved to Benidorm and La Manga (always by the seaside). As a teenager, he used to be involved in the music life and enrolled in many bands and concerts. For intance, Lemon Pop, was in his veins, as well as  Glastonbury and Benicassin music Festival. Later on, while studying at university he joined a rock group of colleagues called “The Widows”, although he might say that it was more a heavy metal band.

 

Besides, this young spanish used to go to London, Liverpool and Blackpool for his holidays and always very close to the coast as usual. At that time, he would dream about Brigton and his “Quatrophenia” life, although some people might say that he was more a rock lover rather than a mod (you can see both influences in his music). Who knows?. In those days he used to play the guitar but above all he always was a poet, a creative composer and singer.   Furthermore, he studied both music and business in the US and UK.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But what defines George Marson´s music: is a passion for music for the market. He is keen on “marketing music”; a term he defines as: “the music that people will enjoy the most”; ready for “comsumption”. For intance, some of his singles are prety much like that, like Cats and Dogs, Adam and Eve, Barbuda and so on.

What are his music´s influences?; you might ask; well he is a very assiduous listener of almost everything, but let me tell you a secret: he is very fond of the sixties. “Is there anything really new after the 70s?”, as he might say. George Marson´s music is full of reminiscences to the Beatles, catchy tunes, and Led Zeppelin eclectic and diverse music.

Nowadays, is very possible that you might find him in a live performance: Muse, Depeche, The pains, Foo fighters furthermore Enrique Iglesias, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber (some of Marson´s friends say that he looks like Bieber, but he is more into rock even though his music is mainly Pop).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Although he enjoys singing in small pubs in London and NY, he is now more into big things because he´s founded Faces of Aces in 2014. And one of his big secrets is that even though you can find him drinking almost everything, he is a sport man, pretty much into sports, and of course water sports (always by the sea side).
